The XIX San Pedro Rock Festival will pack the Parque de Los Tres Jardines with crowds and music on September 16 2023.
Canadian band Pointed Sticks is headlining the free event, which will begin at 5:00 pm.. The music event will also feature five local groups – Desamparados en Guirilandia, Natura, Radement, Rata Pendón and Rob Sas Band – and the Madrid group Los Chicos.
There will be a dedicated area with children’s activities and other activities. Deputy mayor Javier García said “This event is a classic within the programming of San Pedro, where musical culture is very important”.
It was also pointed out that behind this festival there is a lot of work and enthusiasm and it was said that “we always bet on local talent but also counting on some international appeal.”
The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Rob Sas Band, a band of rock classics, who will be followed by Rata Pendón, one of the most popular groups on the local scene that make ‘choni’ punk”. Heavy metal band Radement will perform next followed by Natura, the first group from San Pedro that recorded and toured in the United States. They will be followed by the Sampedreños Desamparados in Guirilandia.
In the final section of the event, the international punk rock group from Canada Pointed Sticks will perform.
