San Pedro is the perfect location to shop around its town centre, but there is another area, which is just a two-minute drive from the town. Or, if you don’t want to drive and are up for a nice stroll that leads you past a meandering golf course, then the Guadalmina commercial centre is just 20 minutes walking distance.
Set in the Guadalmina Alta area, on the western side of San Pedro Alcántara, it can be accessed either from the side street next to the medical centre (Centro de Salud de San Pedro), going down through C/Dr. Eduardo Evangelista or more frequently via the side street from McDonalds next to the A7 junction, which leads directly to the centre. With plenty of businesses, banks, restaurants, supermarkets, vets, hairdressers etc, providing all kind of amenities and services, it is worth a visit.

Cafeteria D’Alicia is one of San Pedro’s busiest meeting points in Guadalmina, as well as a fantastic place to have your breakfast at, with a very pleasant atmosphere and service. Lovely fresh bakery and homemade ice creams, as well as artisan chutneys, jams, peanut butters, chocolates, cookies and personalised cakes for all occasions.
Recently opened, the Iceland supermarket has a great selection of British products for sale, also Supersol is a large supermarket that includes a butcher and bakery section. Both stores provide ample service, including a large free parking area on the front side of the commercial centre. Also Valeria Gourmet serves an exclusive selection of hams, cheeses and exquisite wines plus a wide variety of organic products.
There are many real estate agents that specialise in properties across the Costa del Sol, such as Winkworth and Passion4Property, who provide a professional and specialised service in property and holiday rentals.
