Salva Trasto and the band Papas Fritas

With many events cancelled or postponed in San Pedro and around the region because of the current health crisis, it is good to see that some events are still being held as a way to entertain children and families. After being locked down for so long it is a welcome relief for many parents to be able to do something together with their children.

San Pedro has always been famed for its family friendly appeal and tonight’s performance is a testament to their continued efforts. With more people arriving each day from other parts of Spain and Europe, it is important to find things to do to help keep the family amused. This event sounds like it has all of the ingredients to be a ‘crazy’ and fun evening for the entire family.

The Book Fair of San Pedro Alcántara will host a family rock concert tonight by Salva Trasto and the band Papas Fritas!

The Office of the Mayor of San Pedro Alcántara confirms that tonight, Friday, July 10, from 8:30pm the event will take place on Paseo Las Palmeras and will be the family rock concert ‘Canciones Tontas’ by Salva Trasto and the French Fries Band.

During the performance, which is part of the celebration of the Sampedreña Book Fair, the artists will look at how each song was created and written and they will also showcase some games to have fun with and recreate with family and friends.

We hope you can find time to enjoy the entertainment and please remember that social distancing is still very much a part of everyday lives, as is wearing a mask if you are in crowded areas and unable to maintain the 1.5 metres distance rule.

Happy Friday from the San Pedro Guide Team!
