Plastihistoria Exhibition

The San Pedro Cultural Centre will be the host of an original vision of history with the exhibition “Plastihistoria”

The area of culture and youth of the Tenencia de Alcaldía San Pedro Alcántara will be showcasing a sample of works referring to the most significant moments in history, recreated with play-doh, which can be visited right up until the end of April at the San Pedro Cultural Centre.

‘Plastihistoria of humanity’ shows scenes from the Paleolithic, Neolithic, Egyptian, Persian, the Phoenicians, the Trojan Horse, the Roman Empire, Jesus of Nazareth, the Crusades, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the discovery of America, The Baroque, the French Revolution, Francisco de Goya, the conquest of the American West, the First and Second World wars, the conquest of space and globalization.

“It is a recommended activity for all audiences and of all ages, which through the various scenes made in play-doh, will show the story in a contemporary and entertaining way”, explained Gem Midon who has the responsibility for culture of San Pedro Alcántara. “We continue to work towards the objective of providing quality activities for all and in turn, to the students of our educational centres for their training and expansion of knowledge”.

The exhibition will open on 2 March. This free exhibition will be open to the public until April 27 between 9am to 9pm, Monday to Friday with Saturdays added during April (9am to 2pm).
