The VIII Solidarity Padel Tournament in aid of Infancia Sin Fronteras will be hosted by the Nueva Alcántara Padel Club in San Pedro from the 4th to the 6th of August, coinciding with the organization’s 25th anniversary.
Present at the presentation event was San Pedro Alcántara’s deputy mayor, Javier García, who expressed his wholehearted support for this noble cause, stating that it harmoniously brings together sports and charity to benefit an association committed to providing commendable efforts in enhancing the opportunities and quality of life for children worldwide.
Guillermo del Grosso, the Director of Operations at Nueva Alcántara, provided a comprehensive overview of the tournament, which will feature male and female categories in the second, third, and fourth divisions. Registration is open until Thursday 3rd and can be done directly at the club, through Pádel Manager, or via phone at 639 77 93 15.
Luis Lastra, the president of Infancia Sin Fronteras, also graced the occasion and expressed gratitude for the unwavering institutional support received over the last 25 years. He emphasized that the association has directly impacted over 40,000 children and garnered the backing of more than 30,000 members throughout Spain.
The Director of Communication for the association, Arancha de Benito, elaborated on the program, stating that the gala dinner will be held on Friday, the 4th of August, commencing at 8:00pm at the Hard Rock Hotel.
The highlight of the evening will be a significant charity auction, featuring generous donations from notable figures such as Alejandro Sanz, Joaquín Sabina, Hombres G, and Luka Modric, among others.
