More good news in terms of medical help in San Pedro de Alcantara with the confirmation that the area will have two additional itinerant defibrillators that will tour the markets and street markets.
The San Pedro Alcántara market now has a defibrillator for emergencies. The deputy mayor, Rafael Piña, and the director of DYA, Víctor Manuel Mejías, visited the municipal facility that thanks to this new acquisition now becomes a cardio-protected area.
“This initiative, promoted by the Trade delegation, is another guarantee in terms of first aid and is destined to save lives,” said Piña.
Piña explained that these cardio-protection systems are in addition to those already found in the Mayor’s Office, sports facilities and in the patrol cars of the local police.
Mejías thanked the Mayor’s Office for its commitment to convert the municipal facilities into cardio-protected spaces. Defibrillators save lives and training is very important, “said the head of DYA, who has indicated that anyone interested can also receive a course on its use for which you should contact the association on 951 703 608
