The local government board today approved licences for reform, expansion and execution for work totaling 60 million euros. This was announced by a spokesman of the government team, Felix Romero, who said that “this confirms that Marbella is still focused on investment.”

In particular, an extension licence for a health centre to the sum of 688,400 euros has been approved; a licence for the basic building project of 340 homes in Guadaiza at a value of 56 million euros and 12 other licences at a total of 3.3 million for other projects to reform, expand and build new homes in other areas of Marbella. In addition, the spokesman highlighted a total of 23 files that the Delegation of Industry and Public Road processed in the month of April for new business projects in the area. Ten of them will be located in Marbella, another 10 in Nueva Andalucía , two in Las Chapas and one in San Pedro Alcántara.

Also announced by the local government board was the justification for the subsidy granted to the Association of Relatives of People with Alzheimer’s Disease (AFA) on November 15. They have also approved two housing grants for four people, two grants for family finances for an amount of 1,596 euros each and another vital funding for a total of 2,000 euros.

Finally, Romero has reported the official publication of the decree of April 27, 2018 for the final approval of ‘Regulations for Use and Utilisation’ of the Cantera de Nagüeles Auditorium. He has also explained two agreements for the final approval of planning sectors in the southern extension of San Pedro Alcántara and in the Cascada de Camoján urbanisation.
