Below is an up to date agenda of all the events organised by the San Pedro town hall for December 2018 and January 2019.
WEDNESDAY, 26TH – From 17:00hrs. Welcoming the Royal Mailman of the Three Wise Men – Los Reyes Magos de Oriente, with animated parades through the following streets: Plaza Pueblo of Istán, Calle Estepona, C/Del Valle, C/Ruiz Picasso, C/San Miguel, Constitution Avenue, Esteban St. Mateo, C/Lagasca, C/Pozo and Avenida Marqués del Duero. Followed by Christmas children’s entertainment show on Avenida Marqués del Duero. Churros and hot chocolate for all attendees.
THURSDAY, 27th – From 16:30hrs. Children’s Christmas party in Fuente Nueva (next to Tragatapas restaurant), with activities aimed at the little ones.
FRIDAY, 28th – From 16:30hrs. Children’s Christmas party with activities for the little ones in C/Salabar (Divina Pastora).
SATURDAY, 29th – From 12:00hrs. Christmas Children’s party with activities aimed at the little ones in Boulevard San Pedro (next Boulevard 171 cafeteria).
SUNDAY, 30th – From 12:00hrs. Children’s Christmas Party with activities for the little ones in C/Tolox (Plaza del Árbol).
WEDNESDAY 2nd to 4th JANUARY – From 11:00hrs. Ice Festival in the Plaza Pueblo de Istán with the following activities: inflatable circuit, Christmas workshops and synthetic ice rink. (From 11:00hrs to 14:00hrs and 17:00hrs to 21:00hrs).
THURSDAY, JANUARY 3rd – 17:00hrs. Traditional snack of Roscón de Reyes Magos, traditional sponge cake for the Three Wise Men, at the Active Participation Centre for the elderly San Pedro Alcántara II.
17:00hrs. Children’s Party in the Plaza Pueblo de Istán with the following activities: parade in C/Marqués del Duero, C/Hernán Cortes, C/19 October, C/Pepe Osorio, C/Córdoba, C/Juan Fortuny, Avd. Oriental, C/Revilla Street, C/San Miguel, Avenida Constitution, C/Esteban San Mateo, C/Antonio Martín and Plaza Pueblo de Istán. Followed by a children’s entertainment show ‘Jazmine and Aladdin’ and a circuit of inflatable castles, plus Roscón de Reyes (sweet sponge cake) tasting.
Royal Postman for the THREE WISE MEN – LOS REYES MAGOS: From 27th to January 5th – The House of the Reyes Magos de Oriente will be located on Calle Córdoba, with the following visiting hours: 11:00hrs to 13:30hrs and 17:00hrs to 21:00hrs.
SATURDAY JANUARY 5th – 12:00hrs. The THREE WISE MEN – LOS REYES MAGOS DE ORIENTE will tour the streets of San Pedro Alcántara in vintage cars. Route: Avenida Oriental, C/Fuente Nueva, C/Castilla, Avenida Pablo Ruiz Picasso, BP Rotunda, Avenida Ruiz Picasso, C/San Miguel, C/Marqués de Estella, C/Chambel, C/Guadalajara, C/San Miguel, C/Vélez Málaga, C/Eusebio Ramírez, Avenida Constitución, C/Andalucía, C/Lagasca, Avenida Norberto Goizueta and arrival at Aspadem. At 13:00hrs. The Three Wise Men – Los Reyes Magos de Oriente, visit Aspandem residence in San Pedro Alcántara. At 17:30hrs. The arrival of the Three Wise Men at the old fairground area by helicopter.
At 18:00 hrs. Procession of the The Three Wise Men, (Cabalgata de los Reyes Magos) with the following route: Old Fairground, Av. Pablo Ruiz Picasso, C/Lagasca, Avenida Luis Braille, C/Pepe Osorio, Avenida Oriental, finishing in the Church Square. Next, the Three Wise Men will greet all attendees in the Plaza de la Iglesia from the balcony of the Mayor’s Office in the San Pedro town hall.
SUNDAY, JANUARY 6th 17:00hrs. Traditional snack of Roscón de Reyes Magos, at the Active Participation Centre for the elderly San Pedro Alcántara I.
