San Pedro is holding a musical event at the Trapiche de Guadaiza Cultural Centre, on February 8th. The charity event celebrates its 18th edition with a concert of three well-known singing artists and all proceeds going to the Aspandem Association, a non-profitmaking organisation that supports both children and adults with disabilities.
As every year, the event is organised in collaboration with the Marbella town hall and San Pedro’s deputy office – Tenencia de Alcaldía. The concert this year includes singer/songwriters of national fame, including José Antonio Delgado, promoter of the idea and permanent performer in each of the concerts as he has never failed to join in this charitable event, Fran Fernández who has collaborated with the acclaimed band Revolver, Ismael Serrano, and the very much loved Ana Belen who has also toured internationally, and last but not least, Argentinian artist Fede Comín who has shared the stage with acclaimed artists such as Oscar winner Jorge Drexler, Luz Casal, Tontxu, Rosana, Antonio Vega, David Broza and Carlos Chaouen, among others.
The concert is an annual highlight in the San Pedro cultural calendar, located in an intimate setting with top-level performing artists. Starting at 21:00hrs, the backdrop of this historical building is a fascinating sample of pre-industrial Andalusian heritage, which was respectfully renovated and refurbished five years ago, so the perfect venue for a musical evening.
Tickets are priced at €10 and can be purchased directly from Aspandem – Tel. 952 787 650 or at the cultural centre which is located at Avenida Oriental, nº 23, parallel to the Ronda Road and near the first roundabout.
