San Pedro Alcántara will welcome the ‘King of trap’ Anuel AA who features as the headliner at the upcoming Reggaeton Beach Festival. Anuel AA will be accompanied by 15 other artists, with the names of some of the artists already having been revealed and confirmed. This is the case of Myke Towers, Justin Quiles, Jhay Cortez, Darell, Bryant Myers, Chimbala and Jay Wheeler.
For those of you who don’t know who Anuel AA is, he is a 27 year old Puerto Rican rapper and singer. He is considered a pioneer of the Latin trap movement. He won the 2019 Billboard Latin Music Award for New Artist of the year. Anuel released his first song ‘Demonia’ in 2011, which was then followed with several collaborations with Jory Boy, Magazeen, Ozuna and more.
Javier Garcìa, the deputy mayor of San Pedro Alcàntara and Rubèn Sànchez, the general director of Events, Commercial and Tourism Promotion of San Pedro, have voiced that this festival will help expand the leisure and events on offer as well as bringing welcome income for businesses such as catering and hospitality by creating new jobs. According to Tome Guimaranes the Reggaeton Beach Festival is the largest urban music event in Europe.
