Lovers of 80s music should head to the Parque Tres Jardines near the San Pedro poligono (business park) on Friday, 10thAugust. The concert starts at 9pm and offers several hours of nostalgic fun and good music in the beautiful surroundings of this popular green zone on the edge of San Pedro. Entrance is free and the setting is perfect for picnics, so bring along a blanket, drinks and snacks, and get ready for an easy-going night of fun in a great setting.
The headliners on the night are Spanish favourites La Frontera and La Unión, the latter of which performed at the 2013 edition of the Starlite Festival. Also taking to the stage is evergreen Joaquín Sabinas, and while the billing may not be familiar to many British and other foreign visitors and residents, why not bring some comfortable chairs along and enjoy a chance to experience some Spanish culture first hand in a friendly family environment? You may just become a fan of a whole new genre of music. No tickets needed, just show up on the night!
