Are you wondering where to take the kids this weekend? Well, the good news is that San Pedro is hosting the 1st edition of ‘San Pedro Go!’, a Manga, Anime and video games show with an extensive schedule of over a hundred activities and events for all ages!
Running from Saturday 26th to Sunday 27th, it takes place at the recreation centre on San Pedro’s fairground, where the local Thursday market is held.
The town hall has announced that entrance to the event is FREE both days, as the Salon is part of an initiative to put on important activities, which are of cultural interest as well as being good for tourism and residents alike.
All activities are aimed at kids starting from five years old all the way up to teenagers. These include interactive photocalls of Jawas Star Wars, Goku Fliying Nimbus, a free play video games area with Just Dance 2018, Fifa 18, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Dragon Ball Fightherz among other games.
There will also be a GO Happy kiddies playroom, virtual reality, Japanese pop-songs, Neko Stuffed toy workshop, giant Twister game, giant Trivia match, Rubik’s Race Tournament on Saturday. And Sunday’s schedule features Manga exhibitions, Asian dance show, Cosplay costume contest, Hogwarts challenge, Guess the Song Contest, a shopping area plus so much more to do and see.
So get your costumes out ready to enjoy a fun filled weekend of Japanese culture frenzy!
